Services & Fees
We offer traditional psychotherapy and EMDR therapy for children (5 and over), teenagers and adults in a safe, caring environment without judgment. Each person is treated with dignity and respect with a personalized plan that honors their unique culture and addresses the whole person - mind, body and spirit. Our approach promotes individual well-being and also seeks to heal and strengthen a client's relationships.
We are highly trained, compassionate therapists who love helping others heal and grow. All therapists are EMDR trained and offer a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), self-compassion, family systems, play-based therapy, and person-centered therapy. Treatment is tailored to each individual with specific goals measured over time for success.
We provide healing therapy for ADHD, anxiety, betrayal trauma, child abuse, codependency, depression, grief, life transitions, perfectionism, phobias, PTSD, relationship distress, self-esteem, sexual abuse, and trauma.
⚠️ A Note About High-Conflict Divorce
While we work closely with parents and caregivers as part of the therapy process, our practice is not able to provide services for children in situations involving high-conflict divorce or ongoing custody disputes. In these cases, the therapy space can become complicated by legal matters, and our priority is to maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for children and families. If your family is navigating these circumstances, we encourage you to seek providers who specialize in court-involved or high-conflict family therapy.
Session Fees
Payment/Insurance Information
We offer both self-pay and insurance options. We are in network with BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna and the North Carolina State Health Plan. We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid. We will file insurance for clients who wish to use their insurance. For those for whom we are out of network, we can provide documentation so that they can file their own insurance claims. Fee for services will be due at the time of service. If insurance is being used, insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis before they will reimburse for services. We will discuss with clients the diagnosis before claims are filed. Any diagnosis becomes part of a client’s permanent mental health record. Clients always have the option to pay directly for counseling services at the rates provided above.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers must provide patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
